My Journey Toward Becoming A Fitness Model - Entry 8

Hello Everyone!

  • Seated Leg Curl - 3 sets (15 reps)
  • Dead-Lifts - 3 sets with weighted bar (15 reps)

  • 45 minutes Cardio on StairMaster (20 minutes as interval training)

As far as the bloating that I was experiencing last week. I am no longer experience bloating. I eliminated rice cakes from my diet because I had a good feeling that it was the rice cakes that was causing the bloating. Well, as of now, I am right. I continued to eat my quinoa and oatmeal, and I have not experienced any bloating, so it seems as if it was the rice cakes. I don't feel like my weight is dropping as fast as my trainer would like, at least not in my legs. I have always had big legs, and I have never known how to train them for the look I want. Peter, is confident he knows how to get them in top shape, so I am relaying on him to really help me in that area. I think I am going to have to amp up my cardio to really get my weight moving. My trainer, says to not get caught up on the numbers, which I am not going to. So, when I say get my weight moving, I mean by how I look in the mirror, not the number on the scale. Although, I do have to weigh myself tomorrow, so I can better gauge where I'm at. There is a lot of guessing when it comes to what will, or will not work for my body, but it's part of the process, so I am going to stay strong and keep working hard. Quote from Jillian Michaels's book "Winning By Losing.":

"Calories are a measure of the amount of energy provided by the food you eat.
If you give your body more energy then it can use,
whatever you don't use will be stored as fat."
